So not only will you be getting over your craving and stopping a negative behavior but you will be adding the benefit of exercise for your body. There are not only physical benefits in doing this but also psychological as in feeling a sense of pride in beating the craving.
As an alternative to exercise, deep breathing is tremendously helpful. It might look odd if you started doing lunges etc in your office so deep breathing can suffice here. This brings more oxygen into your body which can not only help you overcome a craving but also boost your energy level.

Teamwork helps some smokers to give up the habit so if you feel this would help you then try to find a friend who also wants to quit and work together with them.
Some have found that getting their teeth cleaned by their dentist was a good reason not to smoke afterward so you may want to have this done also on your quit date.
Some find that periodic rewards help them to stay a non-smoker so you could do the same at certain milestones. Such rewards could be in the form of seeing a movie, going to a fancy restaurant (remember you will have saved the money from not buying cigarettes), or taking a weekend getaway.
